Fourth-grade students at Creek View Elementary School held their own Native American potlatch celebration recently. A potlatch was a Native American ceremony in which tribes would gather together to exchange goods and celebrate their different cultures. Similarly, students created handmade items to barter with each other and dressed Native American-style for the celebration.
