The American Cancer Societys Relay for Life of North Fulton exceeded its goal this year, raising more the $218,000 for cancer research and patient programs while honoring cancer survivors and caregivers at its 2016 Relay.

We are excited about our success this year, said Holly York, American Cancer Society Relay for Life Community Manager, South Atlantic Division. In addition to providing more funds for research, we will be providing more rides to treatment and lodging to cancer patients. Thank you to the thousands of people in our community who donated this year in support of easing the pain and suffering from cancer.

The presenting sponsor for this years event was the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute. Other corporate and community group sponsors included North Fulton Family Life magazine, WSB, UPS, Delta Dental, Rotary Club of North Fulton, State Bank, Renasant Bank, Old Milton Dental, Cox Media and Georgia Power.
