Woodstock HS Student Wins Statewide Design Contest

Woodstock HS senior Savannah Huff won a statewide design contest and earned a $1,000 grant for her school’s graphic design program.

Huff created the top design in the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals’ rebranding contest. Middle and high school students in CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) classes across the state had the opportunity to design a new logo for the professional association.

Woodstock HS’s graphic design program is led by teacher Isobel Mason, the school’s 2020 Teacher of the Year.

“We’re so proud of Savannah for her hard work to earn this award, and for Ms. Mason’s continued outstanding instruction,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower said. “Ms. Mason and her CTAE colleagues across our school district prepare our students for future career success through hands-on work in the classroom and participation in real-world experiences like designing for a client through this contest.”
