Rebranding the City of Holly Springs

Every community is unique and has a story to tell. Having a brand that accurately represents its competitive strengths is just what Holly Springs needs right now. The City of Holly Springs is excited to announce that it will be partnering with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government (CVIOG) at the University of Georgia to undergo a community rebranding during the next several months. The City is confident this process will yield a brand that increases community pride, enhances its marketing efforts, and aids in building the local economy.

Developed and led by a CVIOG team, this process hinges on public participation. The three-phase rebranding process, which is designed to be completed in 9-12 months, includes analysis, design, and
brand launch.

Guided by a Steering Committee comprised of elected officials, business owners and residents, Downtown Development Authority members, and friends of the community, the analysis phase includes public input meetings and an online survey. Additionally, the team will inventory our community's assets, perform thorough demographic research, and study the Holly Springs' surrounding area.

During the design phase, the staff will take the information gathered from the analysis phase and present design options to the Steering Committee including logos, a tagline, and graphic elements to complete the branding suite.

Brand launch, the third phase, will be the most exciting phase. City staff is already looking forward to revealing what we are sure will be a beautiful brand that celebrates our collective past, but also grows with Holly Springs through its next stages. Following the launch, citizens will start to see the rollout of the new brand on the City's website, in local ads, and on special Holly Springs merch.

This is an exciting time in our city's history, and citizens are encouraged to participate, so that the brand is a true reflection of Holly Springs, which is home to some of the kindest families and hard-working business owners around. The rebranding website, BrandHollySprings.com, launches October 6 and will have all the details you need to participate.
