March 28 Egg Hunt benefits Rocket Pantry at Freehome Elementary

Hop on over to historic West Milford Farm, 7938 Ball Ground Road in Cumming, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, where you can meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy an outdoor family-friendly egg hunt. All proceeds will benefit Rocket Pantry at Free Home Elementary School.     “We'll be celebrating with live DJ music, outdoor games, a silent auction and cake auction, as well as some great raffle prizes,” said Chad Milford, co-owner of the farm. Thousands of eggs will be hidden throughout the farm. Please refer to egg hunt times, divided by age:• 2 p.m. — Age 0 to 3 (and special needs)• 2:30 p.m. — Age 4 to 6• 3 p.m. — Age 7 to 10     The event is cash-only or Venmo, with a suggested entry donation of $5 ($20 per family) for Rocket Pantry. Snacks and refreshments will be available for sale.     “We are always looking for sponsors and need egg and candy donations," said Milford. Donations and candy only, (no chocolate) may be dropped off at the Green Bean Exchange at 12573 Cumming Hwy, in Canton. "We're grateful for the community support each year,” said Milford. “Last year we had to cancel due to Covid, so we are keeping the event outdoors this year.” Face masks are recommended at the event, but not required.
