Creekland Middle Schools held its annual Think Through Math Bingo Games in January with students learning, having fun and winning prizes. More than 440 students were eligible to play after meeting or surpassing their goal using the Think Through Math software program, which assists them in mastering state math standards. Winners of the larger prizes given away during the event include: sixth-grader Parker Merrit, seventh-grader Madeline Appleton and eighth-grader Dakotah Favorite, who each won a TV; Rebeccah Richards, who won a portable stereo; and Dalton Pressley, who won a remote-controlled helicopter toy. The prizes also included gift certificates donated by local stores and restaurants, including Menchies at RiverStone, which sent its mascot to the Bingo Games.
