New Cherokee County History Center Set for Hey Day Opening On November 5, get ready for some educational fun, as the brand new Cherokee County History Center opens for you to explore. From 11:00am-3:00pm, the Center will present a Hey Day celebration, featuring food and festivities for the whole family. Inspired by the 1958 Denim Day Carnival, Hey Day will have games, crafts, raffles, food trucks, educational opportunities, and, of course, the museum exhibits.
