John Lummus to the position of police captain, Uniform Patrol Bureau commander.Capt. Lummus has 25 years of law enforcement experience with his last year serving as executive lieutenant to the Office of the Chief of Police. He also served as the assistant Uniform Patrol Bureau commander, Office of Professional Standards sergeant, and Uniform Patrol sergeant. In addition, he possesses Georgia P.O.S.T.
