What: World Meningitis Day Awareness Event sponsored by the PAMAH Foundation When: Sunday, September 29, 2024Time: 6:30 PM (event will last 60 - 90 minutes)Where: AMC Riverstone East Parking Lot (5 Reinhardt College Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114. Parking available at the movie theater) Why: Join our ribbon lighting event as part of the Light the Road 2030 campaign in support of World Meningitis Day. Meningitis is a devastating and debilitating infection that can affect anyone, anywhere, at any time. Meningitis is a largely preventable disease through vaccination, but progress in the fight against the disease is behind other vaccine-preventable diseases. Be part of a global effort by COMO (Confederation of Meningitis Organizations) and the World Health Organization to eradicate the disease by 2030. Prevention is power.
